This is the biggest grocery store from St. Stephen to St. George. The staff are great people and they have a solid variety of groceries. Some things could be better like the prices because I found a lot of the PC brand stuff costs almost the same as the name brand stuff.
The store is very clean and plenty of different options for groceries and the staff was very helpful if you need assistance
I really do like the Superstore brand and in-store atmosphere more than others. This one was bright and rustic in design when you enter. It's a fairly pleasant shopping experience as far as grocery stores go.
I was only in town for a couple of days, but I went in to get a few things for the motel.
Wonderful staff. I had a great experience. I was looking for an item. I passed by the clothing department and asked the lady if she can help me in the dairy section. She left what she was doing and came to help me and even asked another staff member who also looked in the computer. They were soooo patient and kind. They went beyond. Thank you. Also at the cash the item price was not correct. The cashier corrected and was apologizing and also was patient. So clean. Well organised.
Either don’t have a deli section and close it, or train people properly to how to cut charcuterie, we had to throw away a lot of it due to the fact that the prosciutto was cut, almost an inch thick. And this was after a 15 minute wait for someone to come and assist us
Only supermarket in town. Pharmacy is very good, very professional and lowest fees of all others in town for seniors.
Meat counter has great butchers.
Can't hate, for the limited selection most maritime grocery stores have. Most PC items that I've always used when living in Ontario are available here as well. Glad to see the ethnic section growing as that is the best part of most grocery stores and this location was lacking.
They have a huge selection of groceries. Their fresh and ready to cook food is the best in St. Stephen.
I have dropped my star rating for the superstore in St.Stephen because of one manager Tammy I'm assuming from what I witnessed runs the hmr department. Tammy what I witnessed from you to your staff this evening was one of the most unprofessional displays of power ever. Instead of explaining to your team what needed to be done and handled you yelled it to them from the otherside of a deli meat cooler. You didn't have enough respect for your team to even make eye contact with them as you barked demands at them. If you could have even for a moment treated them boys like people you would have seen the sheer embarrassment on the their face as many people were stand in the vegetable section of the store staring at the situation unfolding in front of us. As a manager Tammy you should have done better and moreso as a person you could have done better but you choose not to.
Great store... but the washrooms are disgusting! Here's the thing... when you rate a restaurant the first thing you check are the restrooms. Clean means better quality, cleanliness of the product, and attention to service. The washrooms here - I'm assuming they are the only place the staff can relieve themselves; I will rethink buying anything edible here, unfortunately. I hope they hire a pressure wash company as do other companies- in all other respects a great store.
